What awaits you
-
Side-scrolling adventure
Run, jump, climb ropes and ladders, and fight your way through monsters. Take on quests, level up, and collect loot and gear for your character.
-
Better together
Form a party of up to ten, share the loot, and chat with everyone on your map, the whole server, or just a friend. Everyone you meet is a real player.
-
Trade with players
Swap items and gold face to face. Both players see every detail and confirm the final offer, so a trade can never change at the last second.
-
Community-made maps
Yonderlume comes with its own map editor. Soon you can submit maps of your own and watch other players explore them.
Questions
What do I need to play?
A computer with a keyboard and an up-to-date browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. There is nothing to download or install. Phones and tablets are not supported yet, because the game is played with the keyboard.
Why do I log in with Discord?
So that nobody needs yet another password. Yonderlume asks Discord only for your basic profile (your user ID and name). We never see your password, email address, servers, or messages, and we do not post anything for you.
Is it really free? Is there pay-to-win?
Yonderlume is free to play. There are no ads, no purchases, and nothing you can pay for to get ahead. Items and gold are earned in the game and have no real-world value; buying or selling them for real money is against the Terms of Service.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your character, its levels, items, and gold are saved on our server, so you can continue on any computer. Yonderlume is in early development, so the game will keep changing along the way.
Can I make my own maps?
The game has a map editor, and community submissions are planned. When they open, the Terms of Service explain how submitted maps may be used.
What happens with my data?
Only what the game needs to run: your Discord ID and name, your character and its progress, and a login cookie. No tracking, no ads, nothing sold. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I get help or report a player?
Email us at info@yonderlume.com. Tell us the character name, the map, and roughly when it happened.
